This fox sparrow (Scientific name: Passerella iliaca) spent some time (among its many other bird friends) in my backyard during last week’s snow storm. It tried desperately to stay warm as it switched from one leg to the other. One foot warm, one foot cold, switch! One foot cold, one foot warm, switch!….
